A Prayer for Purpose

May your focus be not on your trouble, but on the One who is always with you,

May your trust be not in yourself, but in the One who laid down His life for you,

May your purpose be found in a deepening relationship with the Lord,

and my you always rest in his comfort and strength.

My focus is on how powerful God is to get me “through” the troubles and the changes made in my life after making it to the other side by His grace. But God…He is the one who got me through it and gave me hope to continue my journey.
