May you walk in the trust of God’s heart for you,
May you know the power of his presence in your life,
May you face disappointments and setbacks with an eye to see God’s hand,
and may you know the victory which comes from knowing Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
Dear Jessica,
Thank you for your encouraging words and prayer, I always look forward to receiving them.
I am 68 and also a Christ follower. I heard your podcast on rejection with the announcement of your book Learning to live with rejection. I am going to purchase it snd as I have lived with similar challenges on rejection.. with the Lord finding healing through the acceptance of His Love and healing and transformation.. a stronger identity through the years of seeking Him and experiencing Him more intimately. I thought I was prepared for my biggest challenge of rejection .. the estrangement snd rejection of my son and his family. Has been a difficult journey. And although you haven’t mentioned that difficulty a lot of parents and grandparents are facing I believe your “ intentional rejection” may cover support needed for helping process this walk many of us are on. There are few Christian resources on this topic and seems to be one churches avoid talking about to. It is a growing generational fracture in families today. I look forward to your book and as a facilitator of women’s study groups encouraging it. Thankyou
Shirley, thank you. Yes it seems to be a growing trend, a very painful trend. Thank you for putting it out there. God bless ya.
