I often struggle with insecurity and needing to feel valued…those feelings of “not being enough” just seem to be amplified when I’m faced with correction and criticism from others. The truth is, without Christ, I am not enough…but through Him, I can do all things. How do I let this sense of Christ centered value sink from my head to my heart? ♥️
This is a really great question and one that is relatable. I’ve dealt with something similar and it’s two truths we hold in one hand. Reciting scripture has been one of the ways I’ve had my heart catch up to my head. For example, God delights in me (Zeph 3:17) or while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me because he loved me. It’s telling my heart this over and over again that has helped. I hope it helps you too. I’m praying for you.
